In Pre-Prep, every child steps into a world of possibility. Our co-curricular programme blends creativity, challenge and adventure, from hands-on science and coding to cookery, rugby, and inspiring visits from authors and experts. With inclusive access and exceptional facilities, children uncover new passions, grow in confidence and experience the joy of learning beyond the classroom.
Inspiring experiences every day
The Pre-Prep co-curricular programme at Crosfields offers children an inspiring range of experiences designed to spark curiosity, nurture confidence and build skills that last a lifetime.
Children explore hobbies such as: Cooking, Comic Club, Scrumys Rugby and Golf.
They are supported by passionate teachers and local experts who bring deep knowledge and enthusiasm to every session. Exceptional facilities, including food technology spaces, the junior library and specialist rooms, help children deepen their learning.
Innovation at the heart of learning
Innovation plays a central role in our enrichment offer.
Children develop early digital confidence through: coding activities, hands on science sessions in our senior labs and STEM days in our Design & Technology spaces.
Visits from authors, creative workshops and cultural events further enrich the curriculum, encouraging imagination and broadening horizons.
Inclusive access for all
A wide selection of hobbies is available at no extra cost, ensuring equitable access for every child. Pupils have the opportunity to engage in a co-curricular programme that grows as they make their way through the school.
Activities generally take place either in the morning or immediately after school and include sessions that are run by Crosfields’ staff and included in the fees, or by external providers for an additional charge. Some activities currently on offer are dance, cookery, chess, judo, golf, swimming and Thinktank.
Trips, visits and memorable moments
Trips and visits run from Nursery to Year 2, culminating in the highly anticipated Year 2 PGL residential, a milestone that develops independence, teamwork and resilience.
Children also enjoy opportunities to join community and competitive events, including: The London Minimarathon, Woodley Festival of Music and Arts, and The Green Park Challenge for young runners.
These experiences foster pride, belonging and a powerful sense of achievement.
A place to discover and thrive
At Crosfields, our inclusive and diverse enrichment programme ensures that every child, regardless of background, interest or ability, can discover new talents, share their strengths and thrive beyond the classroom.
