Junior Pupils Shine in Bebras Challenge

Pupils in Years 3 – 6 recently showcased their impressive computational thinking skills by participating in the annual Bebras Challenge. This challenge, organised by Oxford University, is designed to stimulate logical and creative thinking among pupils.

Juniors have been lucky to have an abundance of exceptional computational thinkers among their pupils. Congratulations to all the participants who displayed their dedication and talent. Special recognition goes to the ‘Best in Crosfields’ pupils who have demonstrated exemplary performance in their respective competitions.

In the Kits Competition, Zoe from Year 3 emerged as a shining star. Her advanced problem-solving abilities earned her the popular title of ‘Best in School’. Zoe’s outstanding achievement highlights her remarkable computational thinking skills at such a young age.

For the Castors Competition, the following pupils stood out and shared the title of ‘Best in School’. Tine, Kanishk, Fabian, Kiaan, Ethan, and Vir, all from Year 5, achieved an equal score, showcasing their remarkable computational abilities. Their consistent high performance sets a commendable example for their peers.

Sebastian from Year 6 demonstrated exceptional computational thinking skills and was crowned the ‘Best in School’ in the Juniors Competition. His outstanding performance reflects his deep understanding and application of computational thinking principles.

Congratulations once again to all the participants and a special shoutout to the ‘Best in Crosfields’ team. Their remarkable achievements are a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and unwavering passion for computational thinking.
