Embracing School Life

At Crosfields, school life reaches far beyond the classroom. We believe that a truly rounded education nurtures the whole child – developing character, confidence and a genuine love of learning alongside academic excellence. From the moment pupils arrive each morning, they are part of a vibrant, supportive community where every individual is known, valued and encouraged to thrive.

Our approach is guided by three core principles – Innovation, Diversity and Opportunity – which shape everything we do, from our rigorous academic programme and wide-ranging co-curricular activities to the pastoral care that underpins each child’s wellbeing. Whether on the sports field, in the art studio, on the stage or in the science lab, pupils at Crosfields discover new passions, build lasting friendships and develop the resilience and skills they need to flourish.

A place where every child belongs

Pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team of tutors, Heads of House and wellbeing specialists work together to ensure every pupil feels safe, supported and ready to learn. We take time to know each child as an individual, celebrating their strengths and guiding them through challenges with warmth and understanding.

Inspiring minds, igniting curiosity

Our academic programme is designed to stretch and challenge every learner, fostering critical thinking, creativity and a deep engagement with each subject. Beyond the classroom, an extensive co-curricular programme offers pupils the chance to explore new interests – from robotics and coding to debating, Duke of Edinburgh and forest school. Music, drama and the visual arts pulse through daily life, giving every child a platform to express themselves and grow in confidence.

Active bodies, healthy minds

Sport at Crosfields is joyful, inclusive and woven into the fabric of school life. Guided by specialist coaches and with access to outstanding facilities, pupils enjoy a broad programme of team and individual sports from Nursery right through to Year 11. We believe that regular physical activity builds not only fitness but also teamwork, resilience and a sense of belonging – qualities that serve our pupils well beyond the playing field.

Supporting every learner

We recognise that every child learns differently, and our dedicated Learning Support team works alongside classroom teachers to ensure that all pupils receive the tailored guidance they need to succeed. Whether a child needs additional challenge or extra support, we adapt our approach so that each individual can make the very best progress and feel proud of their achievements.
