Crosfields School used to be a Prep School teaching pupils up to Year 8. The pupils would go to the traditional public schools at this juncture, both day and boarding, with pupils also leaving to go to some of the local State and Independent Schools at the end of Year 6.
This year (2022/23) we have pupils in Year 10 and it is these pupils who will take their GCSE exams next year. This will be our first set of Public Exam results. The decision to extend the school to Year 11 was partly built on the school’s very strong academic results and reputation. Success rates were very high at Common Entrance (100%), scholarships level, at various entrance exams and to the boys’ state grammar school. They left for schools both local and national, both day and boarding.
